
Its a common scenario in the Service Case Management where we will have many Case Resolution statuses which include the ‘Auto Closure’ status reasons. And, its a usual requirement not to show such ‘Auto Close’ case statuses to user when user tries to close a case manually.

Case Resolution page picks the resolution options from the ‘Resolution Type’ option-set field in the Case Resolution entity. If we do not want a custom status to appear in the case closure form, just don’t add it. Pretty simple!

Also, note that the ‘Status Reason Transition’ feature doesn’t have control on the case resolution type values.
