Microsoft Lists is an evolved version of SharePoint List which offers improved features and also a stand alone mobile app. Looking at this, we believe this is going to add huge benefits for organizations to organize and manage their processes within Microsoft List from Microsoft Teams or from it’s own mobile app for Mobile users.
And, with the combination of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Lists, Power Automate and Dynamics 365, this is going to be a super exciting one! This would also work well if if we need to handle processes which involved Dynamics 365 users and Non Dynamics 365 users within the Organization eg: Push data from Dynamics 365 to Microsoft Lists for Non-Dynamics 365 users to process the data further. We will be covering this in detail in the next blog post.

Let’s see how we can add Microsoft Lists to Teams:
Step#1: Open Microsoft Teams and click on a Team to add a new Application tab.

Step#2: Select ‘Add to a team’

Step#3: Click on ‘Save’

Step#4: Create a list if you don’t want bring your existing SharePoint list.

Step#5: Choose a template. You can also start an empty one.

Step#6: A preview is available to see how each template looks like

Step#7: Give a proper name and apply theme. That’s it!

Step#8: Microsoft Lists is available to start using now!

Step#9: There is a good feature to initiate a chat conversion from a list item. Lets say if we admin user needs to check the status of a particular asset with specific user, its possible from here.

Step#10: Chat message would be shown right next to the list item

We believe Microsoft Lists is going to be useful for many organizations! And this will be one more reason why we love Microsoft products stack 🙂
Hope this helps!
