THE PROJECT:
Implemented Powerful online education tools for better learning outcomes (based on Microsoft 365 Education) for an institute in the UK
BUSINESS OBJECTIVE:
During the pandemic situation, all education institutes were forced to conduct their academic sessions either completely online or in hybrid model. Key struggle for this new process was the complexity in managing the entire process online. Microsoft has come up with Microsoft 365 for Education in support of educational institutes globally.
Key objective of the project was to enable better collaboration among students and faculties, different departments, online assessment platform, implement a student portal and implement an analytics platform for better academic insights and tracking the progress better.
THE SOLUTION:
Microsoft 365 for Education – A cost-effective (free for eligible institutes) online education platform was provided to the faculties as well as students. Also guided the faculties and students on making the best use of Microsoft 365 for Education.
We have also implemented Power BI dashboards for the teachers to review the progress of the students belong to specific class, Management to review the class level progress. Power Automate to send out alerts (reminders and notifications) to teachers and students. Microsoft Forms for conducting online assessments. CDS based Power Apps Portal was developed to enable a self-service portal for the students.
Our Microsoft 365 & Power platform experts came up with the best strategy for the institute and implemented the project making the best use of Microsoft’s cloud-based applications.
